El Shaddai, Yehoshua`, I Am, Elohim
El Shaddai, Yehoshua`, I Am, Elohim

1st VERSE:
There was a man who walked the land
And His name was Jesus Christ.
He spoke of love from God above
Then He gave His life.
For me and you and all we must do
Is ask and then believe.
Then we all can live again.
Eternal life we will receive.

CHORUS:
El Shaddai, Yehoshua`, I Am, Elohim
El Shaddai, Yehoshua`, I Am, Elohim

2nd VERSE:
Oh foolish man don’t think you can
Escape the judgement day.
What you do is up to you
These words that you must say…
Oh, Heavenly Father you gave your son
To live and die for everyone.
I admit I’m a sinner and I believe
Jesus Christ died on the cross for me.

CHORUS:
El Shaddai, Yehoshua`, I Am, Elohim

A Prude? Why Thank you for that Compliment!

angeliawinn

AngeliaI have been called a prude for the way I have raised my daughters. I am beginning to agree with that compliment!

Yesterday, our youngest daughter, Dixie told me that she was uncomfortable reading aloud in her Language Arts class. I automatically assumed it was because of being shy or maybe not being able to pronounce some of the words correctly. She quickly let me know that it was not because of that. The book contained curse words and even tempted her to say the Lord’s name in vain if she would have read what was written. She told me that she replaced the words with something that she deemed appropriate as a thirteen year old Christian, not knowing how far she could go without fulfilling the assignment. The children snickered.

Unfortunately, the teacher who is known as a Christian to the students told the kids that the book was…

Spiritual Wrestling

jesus-pic-06

Our nation’s summer boiled with fear driven hate. The racism is a powerful tsunami sweeping in from different directions, but it is hatred all the way. The facet that has been causing my search of my conscience is the Syrian Immigrants and it eventually put many questions to rest.

First news of some Syrian Immigrants coming to America was alarming. How could anyone consider bringing people from the land of ISIS here to the United States? Then some folks came out in favor of this that I respect and that mystified me.

I considered what Jesus expected me to feel and slowly realized that the terrorists had indeed terrified me. All the innocents prone to assault from terrorist and the peaceful Muslims that want no part of terrorism. At times of war tensions and fear cause people to do strange things. The lines gray to a blur and wartime measures come into play, like internment camps during WW2. Innocent people being hurt just bugs me bad. It is quite a quandary.

In the beginning the world supported the immigrants fleeing the terrorists in fear for their lives.

As the fences go up in Europe and isolationism stirs resistance for the immigrants here in the states it is beginning to take the path of the Jews in World War Two. Nazi and ISIS are two peas in a pod.

History does not necessarily repeat, but it definitely rhymes with its past.

After much wrestling with my spirit I think Jesus expects me to pray for the immigrants and not be terrorized to the extent I lose my humanity.

LORD I Believe In You

Tony A. Smith

LORD I BELIEVE IN YOU

Open Link Above – Song By Crystal Lewis

You Are There

My eyes can’t see you

But I can

We are never far apart

For you live within my heart

Today

And every day

No day is the same

Yet you never change

You are the same

Yesterday

Today

And forever

The lion roars and seeks to devour

But you came to give life and live within

Until the end

Thank you

For loving me

For never giving up even when I do

No one can take my joy away

Thank you

For you live within my heart

And you LORD will forever stay

Comic Books with a Sensory Experience? Opening Comic Books to the Autism and Blind Communities

Face Value Comics - Autism Advocacy through Awareness

We recently entered a contest sponsored by Wells Fargo. With great thanks to a team of dedicated writing volunteers, we entered this submission for professional business mentorship and a $25,000 award. How will we use these resources?

Image a fantastic story – a radioactive spider bites a likeable student. This student discovers new superhuman powers, like a spider. He fights criminals after dating and studying. Marvel Comics’ “Spider-man” already matches this basic description. Now, what if the same radioactive spider bite also gives the hero cancer? Why couldn’t writers use clinical and compassionate experiences to describe a young person’s journey with cancer treatment? How valuable could this resource be for a young generation – with or without cancer – to understand cancer?

Our small business believes kids need heroes like themselves. Our founder (and comic book script writer) saw a gap in the marketplace. He took his experiences as a…

I Reblogged a movie review because it was about the “Anti-Christ”

One evening a few nights ago I had a dream. The controversial future or current existence of a ruler of Humanity that is the opposite of our Lord Jesus Christ. As many things on Earth I cannot truly “Wrap my arms” around the concept. I think this caused me to nod off during my contemplation of this mystery (at least to me).

A stranger appeared in this dream and asked me if I was “The Anti-Christ”, but he looked past me or through me. Behind me I heard “I am”.

The stranger asked again and the voice behind me answered again. This happened two more times and the answer was loud and clear, how could he not hear it?

Out of frustration I answered the stranger, “He said that he is the Anti-Christ, Can’t you hear?”

The voice behind me boomed “My domain is expanding to all of Humanity”

The stranger remained silent as the voice bragged, “I have won because Humanity excepts my terms”

I blasted “I have not accepted your terms!”

“Oh, are you sure you have not?” “Would you like to bet?” The voice seemed closer than before and soon it was very close.
I wondered if I had indeed accepted his terms.

After a long time the voice answered in my mind, “Do you hate?” I answered that I did with a nod of my head.

“Don’t feel bad, I am hate and that is how I roll, how I get around. All Humans have the ability to hate and it was only
a matter of time before I ruled your world. I am the “Anti-Christ” and Jesus told Humanity to love, It was for your own good.

The Laugh mocking me woke me up and that caused some more thinking on my part. Is man’s hate the true Anti-Christ?

Today four of some of the finest young men the marines could provide were taken today and that is my weak spot. My blood
boils when I think of Terrorism here and surely hate will try to rule my life. I provide what I know at this time from MSN

Under the Radar Movies

Wow, where to start. A fantastic mess of a movie.

I’m a huge Willem Dafoe fan but he can really pick some stinkers. That I am willing to forgive him for being in both this and Boondock Saints (I almost didn’t even link to it, that’s how much I hate that movie) only attests to how much I have loved him in other parts in movies like Affliction and The Shadow of the Vampire).

Here, Dafoe plays “He” (it gets better), and Charlotte Gainsbourgh plays his wife “She” (told you). The amorous ways of He and She, which we see a lot of (there’s a full-penetration shot in the 1st 45-seconds of the movie), lead to a tragic accident. She is hospitalized with traumatic grief, something He (who’s a therapist, of course) tries to coach her through. He’s convinced a trip to their cabin in the forest will…
